Upcoming Science Saturdays

October 28th, 2017- Slithering Snakes and Creepy Crawlies

Join us for all things creepy and slithering in the spirit of Halloween!  Learn about those many-legged creatures that may make our skin crawl, but are oh so important in keeping our world in balance and their neighbors that slide through the night.  You might even get to taste some edible insect treats.  Mmmm.

November 18th, 2017- Predators and Prey (note that this is a week earlier because of Thanksgiving weekend)

Animals can be broken into two categories:  those that hunt, and those that get hunted.  Can you tell which is which just by looking at them?  Absolutely!  Join us in a variety of hands-on activities to learn the traits that make each type specialized for survival, and see if you have what it takes to survive as a predator or prey animal.
