DESCRIPTION: Their wingspan is 23.2-25.2 in. and they weigh 2.4-3.3 oz.

HABITAT: Lesser Yellowlegs live in boreal forests and wetlands such as marshes and ponds.

DIET: Their diet includes insects, fish, crustaceans, and mollusks.

NOTES: Lesser Yellowlegs make a “tu-tu” noise. They are protected on the US Migratory Bird list.
