Species Spotlight: Bluebird Nest Box Monitoring

Catching sight of the Eastern Bluebird used to be a rare occurrence in this region, but thanks in part to the installation of nesting boxes, Bluebirds have been making a comeback. Would you like to learn more about these beautiful creatures? Would you like to be one of those folks who gets to tend the nest boxes and collect information about the birds’ nesting success?! This session is free and open to anyone interested in learning about Bluebirds; it is required for all those interested in volunteering as official FPWC Bluebird Monitors.

Program will be held at Forest Preserve Headquarters.

Registration and additional information are available here.
